Scowcroft Building

Located in Ogden, Utah, the Scowcroft Building was built in 1906 and is listed on the National Historic Registry. Consisting of approximately 123,000 gross square feet (95,000 rentable square feet), the Scowcroft Building is a 5-story brick building. Cottonwood's 2003 renovation of the Scowcroft Building includes a seismically upgraded structure, raised flooring, state of the art HVAC system, new roof and new electrical system throughout the Building. The building was built as a warehouse/office facility by the John Scowcroft & Sons Company, the largest dry good wholesaler between Omaha and San Francisco in the early 1900's. In addition to renovating the Scowcroft Building, Cottonwood built a 10,705 square-foot building adjacent to the Scowcroft Building to house the Junction City Café.
